ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Md. –Team CECOM, it’s hard to believe the holidays are just around the corner. Where has this year gone?

The end of autumn is not only a time for turkey and football, this time of year also marks Federal Benefits Open Season, which runs from Monday, November 8 through Monday, December 13. During this time, you have the opportunity to enroll, change plans, change enrollment type, or cancel enrollment. If you do not wish to change your current enrollments, good news – no action is required. However, Flexible Spending Account enrollments must be made each year to continue participating.

To make enrollments, changes, or cancellations during open season, please visit the Employee Benefits Information Systems at www.ebis.army.mil . Benefits Counselors are also available to help you by phone at 1-877-276-9287 Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time.

I hope you all enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday and find time for some well-deserved relaxation throughout the holiday season. This year, I am especially grateful for team CECOM and all you do to support our warfighters – each of you is a key component to our mission’s success. That being said, I ask that you please be mindful this holiday season. Continuing using caution while you gather with your loved ones: keep gatherings small, routinely wash hands, and use outside space when available. If you are sick – please stay home. I look forward to returning to a safe and healthy workforce after the holiday break.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Combat Power! Always Ready!
