FORT KNOX, Ky. — Fort Knox will celebrate Thanksgiving Nov. 24 with its annual traditional lunchtime meal in Cantigny Warrior Restaurant to show appreciation for all personnel who work at the installation and their family members.
Provided by Fort Knox Logistics Readiness Command, the meal will feature all the trimmings for those interested in having a first-class Thanksgiving holiday meal served by installation leaders from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
To avoid any logjam of diners arriving at the same time, Fort Knox units and organizations have been assigned a timeslot for their personnel and family members to attend. All others are invited to attend at a time of their choosing.
Cash only is required for purchasing meals, exact change preferred. Prices are reduced to a holiday discount: $7.10 per plate for immediate family members of Soldiers ranked E-4 and below, and personnel on field duty with no per diem, and $9.55 for all others.
