WHEELER ARMY AIRFIELD, Hawaii -- Halloween activities will be authorized implementing the following COVID-19 safety and prevention protocols.

Guidance may change as the local situation changes.

Trick-or-treating hours will be on Sunday, Oct. 31 from 5-8 p.m. in all U.S. Army Hawaii family housing areas.

Groups no greater than five people are allowed, unless in the same household.

“One-way” trick-or-treating is highly recommended in all U.S. Army Hawaii communities. Consider having candy readily available outdoors as grab-and-go, either in the driveway or the edge of the yard.

Trick-or-treaters should avoid coming to the front door of any house for candy.

Health protection measures, such as hand sanitizer and face coverings are highly encouraged throughout the evening.

If you choose not to participate in Halloween activities, please consider turning off your porch lights.
