Tamia Merino, a Peruvian-American and wife of Sgt. 1st Class Luis Merino, Fort Sill Dental Activity, sings a song about Peruvian culture popularized by the late Yma Sumac during the Hispanic Heritage Month observance Sept. 23, 2021, at Cache Creek Chapel. Tamia is taking online classes as an operatic soprano with an interest in educating people through her music.
