Residents near Dillingham Army Airfield and the Kahuku areas can expect an increase in military aviation noise during day and night time hours from August 16, 2021 through August 27, 2021. The increase in aircraft and vehicle traffic will be due to scheduled training in support of the 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team training exercise called “Bronco Rumble.”

Primary training areas used during this exercise will be Schofield Barracks, Dillingham Army Airfield, Kahuku Training Area and Bellows Field. Flight times are subject to change due to unpredictable weather that could impact visibility or safe operations.

In preparation for the 25th Infantry Division annual Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) exercise, the 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division “Bronco Brigade” is conducting a 12-day training exercise to validate processes and systems as well as conduct company-level training missions to ensure readiness of the brigade at all echelons. Conducting these large airmovements are a critical component to maintaining our readiness.
