While supporting 1-160th Infantry Battalion during the Exportable Combat Training Capability rotation 21-01, Sgt. 1st Class Michael Shannon, an OC/T assigned to 3-358th Filed Artillery, was a critical component in the training, coaching, and mentoring of the Battalion Fire Support Element.
Shannon took it upon himself to implant within the unit for the duration of twenty-four hours while providing substantial documentation for the enhancement of the unit. His profound ability to reach out to multiple units across the U.S. Army ensured that all products delivered were doctrinally sound and necessary to accomplish the mission.
Shannon's hard work and diligence directly resulted in the 1-160th IN BN's successful completion of their mission.
