Monthly Fort Knox retirement ceremony set for Aug. 27

The monthly post retirement ceremony will be Friday, Aug. 27 at 3 p.m. in Waybur Theater. General Michael X. Garrett, commander of U.S. Army Forces Command, will be the host, and U.S. Army Recruiting Command Senior Enlisted Advisor Command Sgt. Maj. John Foley will serve as the co-host.

The public is invited to attend this event. All compliance measures associated with health protection condition (HPCON) level Bravo and General Order No. 1 (signed July 29, 2021) remain in effect.

The following retirees will be honored in this ceremony:

·Col. David Doherty, U.S. Army Recruiting Command, with 30 years of service

·Col. Michael Moore, V Corps, with 28 years of service

·Command Sgt. Maj. Kenneth Clayborn, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, with 30 years of service

·Command Sgt. Maj. Steven Laick, U.S. Army Marketing and Engagement Brigade, with 32 years of service

·Capt. John Miller; 20th Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosive Command; with 27 years of service

·Sgt. 1st Class Adam Dines, 7th Transportation Brigade (Expeditionary), with 20 years of service

·Sgt. 1st Class Monica Garrett, 319th Quartermaster Battalion, with 22 years of service

·Sgt. 1st Class Thomas Hackett Jr., U.S. Army Cadet Command, with 21 years of service

·Sgt. 1st Class Anthony McCutcheon, 4th Cavalry Multi-Functional Training Brigade, with 33 years of service

·Sgt. 1st Class Darrell Stamps, 4th Cavalry Multi-Functional Training Brigade, with 20 years of service
