FORT SILL, Oklahoma (Aug. 16, 2021) -- Leadership Fort Sill is accepting applications for its next class, which starts Oct. 15.

The program, designed for midgrade Department of the Army civilians, has expanded this year to include General Schedule 9-13 or equivalents. It was created  to help employees gain a broader perspective of the workings of the Fires Center of Excellence and Fort Sill, while offering mentor-mentee relationship opportunities.

The eight-month program meets monthly at host brigades, directorates, and units. Leadership Fort Sill assists its students in networking and exploring the learning environment. The program also provides opportunities for participants to spend time with executive-level leadership on the installation.

Participants will visit select organizations on post and participate in a series of educational forums exploring leadership, change management, and project management.

Additionally, participants will attend special engagements with Fort Sill senior leaders.

Applications must be submitted Aug. 23 to Sept. 3. For more information on the application process, call the Fort Sill Tribune office at 580-442-5150.
