A MESSAGE FROM NSSC'S SENIOR COMMANDER
Team Natick Teammates,
As the Senior Commander for Natick Soldier Systems Center, it is critical to continuously assess the force health protection measures for the Natick population, based on input from your leaders, public health and medical advisors, DoD Guidelines, and operational requirements. I am committed to protecting the health and welfare of the workforce while maintaining operational effectiveness on the installation.
Earlier today, the CDC raised the COVID 19 Community Transmission Level for Middlesex County, Massachusetts, from “moderate” to “substantial” based on an increase in COVID-19 cases in the community. Based on the increase in cases, all personnel on NSSC, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask indoors and follow social distancing measures. Updates to the mask requirements, including exceptions, will be published in an update to the NSSC COVID-19 Force Health Protection Policy, Annex C.
Signage will be posted at the entrance to the installation to alert personnel of the current status and requirements for masks.
Individually and collectively you have enabled Team Natick to ensure we are protecting each other and the community while supporting our missions. I commend you for the efforts to date and seek your diligence and discipline to continue protecting each other, our families, and the community.
Very Respectfully,
DAVID C. TRYBULA
