FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. — Dan Danzo, an employment specialist with Army Community Service (right), speak with Lt. Col. Matthew Mason, 3rd Battalion, 10th Infantry Regiment commander (left), and 3-10th Command Sgt. Maj. Vincent Lewis June 29 at the Army Heritage Month Organization Day at Nutter Field House.

The one-day event provided service members, their families and Army civilians here the opportunity to recognize and honor the diversity of the Fort Leonard Wood community and the Army as a whole.

Volunteers across the installation built displays, presentations and games, played music and hosted other activities to highlight cultures and histories found across the force. The USO was on-hand to provide free food from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
