MAHMUDIYAH, Iraq -- Sgt. Jefery Fyke of Fayetteville, N.C., a driver with Company B, 120th Combined Arms Battalion, 30th Heavy Brigade Combat Team, and an Iraqi Soldier with 3rd Company, 3rd Battalion, 17th Iraqi Army Division, conduct a traffic stop in a rural area near Mahmudiyah, Iraq, south of Baghdad, July 21. Through the use of traffic control points, Iraqi Security Forces protect the local populace by keeping insurgent groups from smuggling weapons into areas throughout Iraq.
