FORT KNOX, Ky. — Juneteenth (June 19) has been declared a federal holiday. Because the new holiday falls on a Saturday, Friday (June 18) will be treated as a holiday for pay and leave purposes.

The Chaffee (main) Gate will be the only installation access point open Friday.

Fort Knox employees with questions about their potential work status for June 18 should contact their supervisors for additional information and timekeeping instructions.
