FORT BENNING, GA -- Transportation Security Agency representatives presented awards to WHINSEC instructors, here, today.

David A. Noland, TSA Station Manager at the Columbus Airport, recognized the interagency cooperation by presenting Certificates of Appreciation and a unit coin during the ceremony.

"I have been working here at the Columbus Airport for 19 years, and when the WHINSEC instructors come with the outgoing personnel, the security check in process is much smoother and fast. Their language skills and eagerness to get their soldiers boarded in a proper and safe manner really makes a difference," said Noland.

During today's ceremony five instructors with the School of Leadership and Tactics (SLT) were recognized. They are Colombian Army Partner Nation Instructors, Master Sgt. Alexander Henao (Colombian Marine) and Sgt. First Class Carlos Mora (Colombian Army); and US Army Staff Sgts. Daniel Adorno, Radames Berroa, and Segundo Sanchez.
