Smoots Pond, Soon Gated

Effective June 1, 2021, Smoots pond on Fort A.P. Hill will be gated. The new Smoots pond gate will be opened at approximately 6:30 AM and will be closed approximately 1 hour after sunset.

Motorists should be aware of this new gate and watch for stopped or turning vehicles on Smoots Road (Rout 640) in Caroline County.
