Lt. Gen. John S. Kolasheski, V Corps Commanding General, visits the International Peacekeeping and Security Center near Yavoriv, Ukraine, May 14, 2021. Kolasheski received a brief on joint multinational group operations by the command team of Task Force Raven, 81st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Washington Army National Guard, during his visit.  Task Force Raven is the command element of the Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine, which is responsible for training, advising and mentoring the Ukrainian cadre at the Combat Training Center-Yavoriv to improve Armed Forces Ukraine’s training capacity and defense capabilities. Soldiers at JMTG-U work with AFU partners at the CTC-Y to develop and implement systems to improve combat training and increase training center capacity.
