The Hunter Army Airfield community celebrated the kick off to Month of the Military Child with a neighborhood parade that ran through the Family housing neighborhoods, April 1. Army Community Service, Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers and the Department of Emergency Services were a few of the many organizations that participated in this community event set to recognize and celebrate the resilience of military children across Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield.

Military children, Charlotte, Hailey, Ethan and Michael, pose with their prizes collected during the Month of the Military Child parade, April 9 on Fort Stewart, Georgia. Parade participants tossed out commemorative t-shirts, candy and art supplies during the afternoon parade that visited each of the Fort Stewart Family Housing areas.
