FORT KNOX, Ky. – Fort Knox leaders are encouraging the community to participate in this year’s Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month campaign by making a personal promise.

The 2021 “I Pledge” campaign is kicking off Wednesday, April 14 at 10 a.m. A table will be set up in the lobby of the Main Post Exchange where participants can sign their names as a commitment to this year’s theme: “protecting our people protects our mission.”

Giveaway items promoting the campaign will be available, along with information on the resources available for reporting sexual assault.

The table will return every Wednesday throughout April, and be set up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

To report sexual assault, call the DOD Safe Helpline 24 hours a day at 877-995-5247 or visit safehelpline.org.
