Fort Leonard Wood welcomes first baby of 2021
Sgt. 1st Class James Shipley, 3rd Chemical Brigade, and his wife, Brittany, welcomed their daughter, Madilyn, into the world at 10:22 a.m. Jan. 1. Madilyn, weighing 7 pounds, 11 ounces, was the first baby born at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital in 2021. Brig. Gen. James Bonner (right), Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood commanding general, and MSCoE and Fort Leonard Wood Command Sgt. Maj. Randolph Delapena, visited the happy family Saturday and presented them with a gift basket provided by AAFES.
