GVSC participates for twelfth year in the NDIA’s GVSETS & APBI

The U.S. Army DEVCOM Ground Vehicle System Center is participating for the twelfth year in the NDIA’s virtual GVSETS & APBI, Nov. 3-5, 2020. The Ground Vehicle Systems Engineering & Technology Symposium & Advance Planning Briefing for Industry (GVSETS & APBI) is one of the NDIA Michigan Chapter’s key industry-government-academia event.

According to NDIA, this three-day event brings together defense executives, program managers, engineers, and other key decision-makers to discuss initiatives, programs, plans, and innovative technical solutions for manned and unmanned ground systems. This unique opportunity helps chart the course and contribute to the future success of our nation’s Warfighters.

GVSC is scheduled to have 53 presenters and an additional 26 contributing authors providing information on Autonomy Artificial Intelligence Robotics (AAIR), Mobility, Modeling Simulation and Software (MS2), Survivability, Vehicle Electronics and Architecture (VEA) & Cyber during day one of the event. On day two, GVSC Director Mr. Jeffrey Langhout will be joining the rest of Team Detroit Arsenal for the Senior Leadership Panel – Vision and Priorities. Aside him will be Brig. Gen. Ross Coffman, Director of U.S. Army Next Generation Combat Vehicle (NGCV) – Cross Functional Team (CFT), Army Futures Command; Maj. Gen. Brian Cummings, Program Executive Officer, Program Executive Office (PEO) Ground Combat Systems (GCS) Support; Mr. Daniel Gallagher, Executive Director, U.S. Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal; Mr. Timothy Goddette, Program Executive Officer, PEO Combat Support and Combat Service Support (CS & CSS); and Brig. Gen. Darren Werner, Commanding General, U.S. Army TACOM.

GVSC will have a virtual booth at GVSETS where registrants can engage with subject matter experts to find out how to partner with the organization.
