Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works Welcomes Christina Baysinger

The Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works welcomes Christina (Chris) Marie Baysinger!

As a member of the Management and Budget team, she will support the development and implementation of the Army Civil Works budget (which totaled nearly $7 billion in Fiscal Year 2020), as well as contribute to the management oversight of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).

Chris comes to us with a wealth of experience having served as a program and project manager, attorney, social scientist and realty specialist for USACE. Throughout her years, she has executed a multitude of military and civil works programs and projects at all three levels of USACE: Headquarters, Major Subordinate Command, and District. Chris was also previously detailed to the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, where she worked with USACE authorization and oversight Congressional Members and staff.

Chris received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law in Akron, Ohio. Additionally, she completed the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government Senior Executive Fellowship.

She is licensed to practice law, as a member of the bars of the Supreme Court of the United States and the State of Ohio. Chris is also a certified Project Management Professional.
