Patton Museum at Fort Knox closes temporarily due to staffing shortages

FORT KNOX, Ky. — Due to staffing shortages at the Patton Museum, the facility will be closed beginning Oct. 29 until further notice.The Center of Military History is working to hire for these positions, which officials say are vital to museum operations and ensuring mandatory COVID-19-related sanitation measures are performed properly. Updates will be provided regarding the reopening as they become available.Fort Knox officials said they appreciate patrons’ understanding and patience as Center of Military History officials work to keep patrons and staff safe.
