Construction workers use an excavator to lower a 1st Engineer Brigade robot with a camera into a sinkhole Oct. 8 at the new General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital construction site. The hole was discovered Oct. 7 and was cordoned off before engineers could determine its size. Based on the information provided by the robot, the hole was determined to be about 10 feet in diameter and 20 feet deep. Further analysis on the hole will be completed after it is excavated.
