CAMP HUMPHREYS, Republic of Korea -- In support of the United States Forces Korea’s mandatory quarantine at Camp Humphreys, Humphreys Army & Air Force Exchange Service staff and volunteers have consistently gone above and beyond their normal duties for community members in quarantine.

In a period of six months, AAFES delivered more than 35,000 meals to approximately 6,000 Soldiers, civilians, contractors, and family members who were newly assigned to the Korean Peninsula.

Col. Michael Tremblay, USAG Humphreys commander, recognized this effort by presenting more than 35 AAFES staff and volunteers a Certificate of Appreciation at the Humphreys Food Court, Sept. 25.

“You guys are great,” said Tremblay. “You are all vital to the mission and I am very proud of you all. Your exemplary service in providing thousands of meals to our incoming community, in this difficult time, is outstanding. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.”

Ann Yi, AAFES general manager, agreed.

“This is possible because we have the best team on Humphreys,” said Yi. “We are committed to making 'Humphreys Home' by serving the best customers in the world.”
