FORT KNOX, Ky. — The Fort Knox Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention Program is hosting a Virtual SHARP Walk/Run Sept. 1-30 in support of 7,825 survivors across the Department of Defense who reported sexual assault in fiscal 2019.

Officials announced that miles can be completed wherever and as often as each individual likes on their own time during the month of September.

The general public may participate, but all participants must register and log miles at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/virtual-walking-for-7825-tickets-111338131348.

Walkers and runners are encouraged to post a proof-of-mileage picture, such as on a treadmill screen, bike screen, fitness tracker watch or phone app, to the SHARP Walk Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/Virtual-SHARP-Walking-for-7825-119434493193843.
