20th CBRNE Soldiers chose to spend their Memorial Day weekend honoring their fallen comrade in a unique way, by spending their time giving back to their local community members impacted by COVID-19.

Six Soldiers from the 20th CBRNE Command Headquarters and 1st Area Medical Laboratory joined the Command Chaplain Office to volunteer their services at the Prince of Peace Church in Edgewood, Maryland.

SPC Nathaniel Wheeler, SGT Cody Davis, PV2 Nicholas Garant, SPC Innocent Folly, SPC Dale Felker and SSG Byron Schwartz were present alongside Chaplain LTC Terrell Jones to make and pass out meal kits to those in need, all while wearing proper COVID-19 personal protective equipment.

By the end of their efforts, these Soldiers were able to provide food for over 170 people within their community.
