What Makes This Cadet Stand Out From Their Peers?

Cadet Nosek is an outstanding student, Cadet and future Nurse. She goes above and beyond to complete any task given to her. She is always driven to help, even when she is not asked. We believe that she exemplifies the qualities of leadership excellence that are sought out in future officers in the United States Army.

Cadet Nosek shows great balance between ROTC and her academics. Time management is one of the most important skills that our Cadets pick up during their time in Army ROTC. Cadet Nosek has worked hard to find that perfect balance between the demands of ROTC and the rigor of nursing curriculum.

We have been proud to watch Cadet Nosek rise to the challenge of being leader in both her nursing class and in the University of Kentucky Army ROTC program.

In The Cadet's Own Words:

I joined ROTC because I wanted to become an officer in the Army Nurse Corps. Being in the military runs in my family and I felt like it was the right time to step up. Army ROTC has taught me many things since I joined and I am excited to see where this journey takes me.

Something that motivates me as a leader is the future. Becoming an Army nurse officer takes a lot of hard work and dedication. The only way to get there is to put in the work now! My parents have also always been good leaders and it motivates me to be as successful as them some day.
