The Fort Knox Religious Support Office is calling for the community to join them in a “call to prayer” March 26 to bring the community together and encourage one another.

From 8:30 to 9 a.m., 12:30 to 1 p.m., and 8 to 8:30 p.m., those who wish to join the prayer event can call in by phone, follow the instructions and join others in the Fort Knox community as they pray for Fort Knox’s Soldiers, government employees, contractors, leaders, family members, and all those impacted by COVID-19.

Those who call in will have the opportunity to publicly pray with others or be encouraged by those who are praying. Chaplains are encouraging participants to call during one or all of the times listed. The prayer event is open to everyone.

Those who decide to pray are being asked to limit prayers to two minutes so as many as desire have an opportunity to pray. Participants may read a scripture before praying. Before and after praying, place the phone on mute to limit distractions.
