'Ironhorse' celebrates Army's 234th Birthday

BAGHDAD - Rockingham, N.C. native Pvt. Anahi Padilla (left), human resources specialist for Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 1st "Ironhorse" Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division and Killeen, Texas native Sgt. Maj. Robert Gilford (center), the brigade operations sergeant major, wait to cut the cake as they are honored as the youngest and oldest Soldier on Joint Security Station War Eagle, north of Baghdad, by the brigade commander, Sioux Falls, S.C. native Col. Tobin Green.  Green gave a brief history of the Army's traditions as well as the two honorees.  The "Ironhorse" family celebrated the Army's 234th Birthday with the official cake cutting ceremony followed by a barbeque June 14.
