Lightning Academy Air Assault

UH-60 Blackhawk flight crew from 2nd Battalion, 25th Aviation Regiment supported the validation of Air Assault instructors for the Lightning Academy, 25th Infantry Division on Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
Students in the the Lightning Academy Air Assault Course are trained on the missions performed by rotary wing aircraft, aircraft safety, aero-medical evacuation procedures, pathfinder operations, principles and techniques of combat assaults, rappelling techniques, and sling-load operations.
