1-9 CAV 'Headhunters' Soldiers participate in live fire range training

PABRADÉ, Lithuania- Soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, participated in a live fire exercise on January 13 and 14, 2020, in Pabradé, Lithuania.
The ongoing training consisted of various teams moving across the range reacting to contact. Platoon size elements took turns clearing the lane by moving towards the contact.
The 1-9 CAV 'Headhunters' used M1A2 Abrams, M2A3 Bradley Infantry Vehicles and M113s.
The 1st Battalion, 9th Cavalry Regiment, based out of Fort Hood, Texas, is currently in Lithuania in support of Atlantic Resolve.
