Major General Donald E. Jackson assumed responsibility as Deputy The Inspector General of the United States Army Inspector General Agency on April 2, 2018.

MG Jackson is a Distinguished Military Graduate of Clemson University, receiving his commission as an Engineer officer in 1986. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Science and Management from Clemson University, a Master of Business Administration from Webster University, and a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. His military education includes the Engineer Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, Combined Arms Services and Staff School, Command and General Staff College, the U.S. Army War College, Sapper Leader Course, and Airborne, Air Assault, and Ranger Schools. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
