FORT SILL, Okla., Nov. 4, 2019 -- The 30th Air Defense Artillery Brigade held a resiliency prayer breakfast Oct. 23, at Cracker Barrel restaurant in Lawton to strengthen individual and unit readiness and spiritual resilience.

The theme for the prayer breakfast was "Strengthening Spiritual Readiness and Resilience."

Don Barnes, senior pastor of Lawton First Assembly, was the guest speaker for the event. He spoke to brigade members about the importance of prayer for unit readiness and spiritual resilience.

Paulette Anderson, Reynolds Army Health Clinic ombudsman, provided the national anthem and special music. The brigade's spiritual fitness event promoted the free exercise of religion, increased unit morale, and strengthened esprit de corps of over 60 leaders, Soldiers, and civilians.

The brigade trains, educates, and develops air and missile defense Soldiers, leaders, and allied partners to build and improve operational force combat capability.
