National Guard gets new deputy CG

Maj. Gen. James Nuttall is introduced to personnel at Headquarters, First Army, June 1 as he assumes the position of Deputy Commanding General, Army National Guard.  In this role, Nuttall will be responsible for the training, readiness, oversight and mobilization of National Guard and Reserve Soldiers from the Continental United States and two U.S. territories. Nuttall comes to First Army following several assignments in Washington D.C. and Arlington, Va.
