Army G-4 Leaders Schedule for AUSA 2019 Announced

Army G-4'S leadership will participate in two major events on Day 2 of this year's AUSA Annual Meeting and Exposition, Tuesday, October 15, and each event can be watched live on the Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (DVIDS) website. The details of each event are as follows:

1. LTG Duane Gamble, in his first public appearance since assuming duties as Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4, will participate in Contemporary Military Forum #3. The forum will focus on "Synchronizing Installation Readiness and Sustainment from the Strategic Support Area to the Tactical Point of Need."

2. MG Michel Russell, Sr., Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff G-4, will be a panelist at Family Forum #3, which is focused on "Army Housing and PCS Moves."

Both LTG Gamble and MG Russell will attend Family Forum #4, the Army Senior Leader's Town Hall. This forum is also on Tuesday, Oct. 15, and Army Family members will be able to share concerns and ask questions in-person and online. The Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy, Chief of Staff of the Army GEN James McConville, and Sergeant Major of the Army Michael Grinston will lead the discussion.

In addition, for those attending the conference, Mr. William Moore, Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4, will participate in a panel on "Bringing Army Logistics -- and Army Logisticians -- Into the Information Age and Beyond."

The theme of this year's meeting is "Ready Now, Investing in the Future." The annual meeting, to be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center from October 14 to 16, is expected to attract 30,000 attendees and 700 exhibitors.
