This past July the Army published the latest version of Army Doctrinal Publication (ADP) 7-0 (Training), replacing the 2018 version. "The recently released ADP 7-0 does not make major shifts in the way the Army plans, prepares, executes and assesses training, but rather reintroduces some highly successful, proven ways to organize our planning structure." said COL Callahan, Director, TMD. "This ADP is less prescriptive than previous versions, allowing the commanders more latitude and independence to develop meaningful, mission focused training while providing more specific training readiness assessment guidelines."

The updates to ADP 7-0 were largely driven to support and reflect the latest changes to unified land operations doctrine. The ADP is easily accessed from either the Army Training Network (ATN) at: https://atn.army.mil/unit-training-management-(utm)/unit-training-management or on the Army Publishing Directorate (APD) at: https://armypubs.army.mil/ProductMaps/PubForm/Details.aspx?PUB_ID=1007352. On ATN, the ADP link is prominently located in the Table of Contents on the Unit Training Management page.

The TMD Help Desk is available to provide support of any ADP related questions or issues from 0500-2100 (CST) Monday-Friday and 0800-1700 (CST) Saturday and Sunday.
