Handura takes command of USACE Sacramento District

Cheryl Ray, wife of Col. David Ray, receives the Army Public Service Commendation Medal from Brig. Gen. Kim Colloton, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers South Pacific Division commander, during a July 11, 2019, ceremony in Sacramento, Calif.
Later that morning, Col. Ray relinquished command of the Sacramento District after leading the unit for three years. Ray then retired from the Army after a 28-year career that included combat deployments and worldwide assignments as an engineer platoon leader, a battalion operations and executive officer, and battalion commander.
