10th Sustainment Brigade, 10th Mountain Division senior officers and non-commissioned officers trained to validate and administer the new Army Combat Fitness Test July 10, 2019, at Magrath Sports Complex, Fort Drum, NY.
"It is imperative that you do the Army Physical Readiness Training exercises," said Sgt. 1st Class Heng Dillard, the senior fuel operations sergeant for Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 10th Headquarters and Special Troops Battalion. "They will prepare you for the ACFT."
The 10th SBDE or "Muleskinners" were accompanied by instructors from the United States Army Soldier Physical Fitness School, Fort Jackson, S.C., to train through demonstration and testing of the new ACFT.
"This test is a better assessment and directly correlates to what we do as Soldiers," said Master Sgt. Jason Johnson, the manager of the physical fitness training teams at Fort Jackson.
The test's initial implementation date for the entire U.S. Army is Oct 2019.
