PORDENONE, Italy (June 25, 2019) -- Italy's version of Woodstock is coming to Vigonovo di Fontanafredda, Pordenone (close to Aviano Air Base), in just a couple of weeks.

In its 22nd year, Brudstock will take place July 12-14, reflecting the unique concert of 1969 from Max Yasgur's farm in White Lake, N.Y. The event celebrates the 50-year anniversary of Woodstock with three days of "love, peace and music."

To find where to go, visitors only need to head toward town and ask for the "Agriturismo e Pesca Sportiva Le Orzrie." You will find many signals directing you to Brudstock. It's ideal for families and groups of friends who want to camp out with a tent or camper, as there will be showers, food, drinks, and many stands distributed throughout the area. The agriturismo will also have all kind of specialties to satisfy anyone's tastes. Want to catch your own supper? Fish all day long -- there is a lake full of fish just waiting for you.

As far as the music goes, start off July 12 at 8 p.m. with Southland Country Band, a mixture of country and folk rock. Next on stage will be X-Hero, playing original rock classic music. Just for the fans of Brudstock, the group has reunited after many years. Then, all the way from the United Kingdom is Animals and Friends with John Steel, original drummer, and Mick Gallagher, both of whom played with the Animals in 1965 and with The Clash. Their songs will bring you back to the late 1960s with "House of the Rising Sun," "We Gotta Get Out of This Place," "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" and many others. It's a concert that cannot be missed.

Finish the night off right with guitarist Fabio Stevie Ulliana with Fabio Stevie Ulliana & Off Limits Band that will play songs from Gary Moore to Stevie Ray Vaughan to Carlos Santana.

Chei Dei Creedence kicks off July 13 at 8 p.m. They are a cover band of the great American group that was at Woodstock: Creedence Clearwater Revival. To follow is Whoresnake, a Whitesnake cover band from Venice.

Leaf Hound also comes all the way from England, with the incredible voice of Peter French. French has sung with Atomic Rooster and Cactus, two of the greatest progressive rock bands ever. Leaf Hound is a British rock band that started in the late '60s and, through the years, has always maintained a high standard of music. To end this evening of great music, the Grateful Dead tribute band, Breakfast in Dead will play some of that psychedelic music that moved America for many years.

The third day, July 14, starts at 5 p.m. with a young-band contest. Participants must be under the age of 24, and each band must play one of their own songs and two from Woodstock. The winner will have a big surprise on stage.

After that, take a listen to B.O.E. (Bored of Education), five American teachers who work at Aviano air base, with their all music from the '60s and '70s. After that, Stone Cold will play songs the Black Crows and Gov't Mule. Then from London, Clearwater Creedence Revival, considered the best cover band of Creedence Clearwater Revival.

For all three days, visitors can admire the Motor Show of epic cars, motorcycles, Vespe, and trucks from the '70s. Also, all around the concert area, there will be stands of handmade (and other) products that will help visitors remember Woodstock, and Brudstock, for many years to come.

For more information and directions, visit www.brudstock.it. Cost for the event is: one day, €5; or three-day admission, €10.
