RED RIVER ARMY DEPOT, Texas -- The depot's Morale, Welfare and Recreation hosted the Commander's Cup Golf Tournament at Oak Grove Golf Course June 14.
Eighteen teams, consisting of golfers across the four-states area, registered at the event which included refreshments and a luncheon for all players.
The tournament was sponsored by Red River Federal Credit Union, Robbins Toyota, Golf USA and Sonic. Over $2,000 in cash prizes were given to the first, second and third place teams for both flights as well as $1,500 in door prizes. Robbins Toyota sponsored the hole-in-one prize a 2019 Toyota Tacoma.
Red River Commander Col. Stephen M. York and depot Sgt. Maj. Keith E. Green led the award ceremony, presenting awards to the top finishers of the event as well as awarding the prizes for the longest drive and closest to the pin.

First Place -- Tommy Graft, Jerry McCarty, Steve Pennington and Debbie Sheppard
Second Place - Kenny Thompson and Mike Moulton
Third Place -- Brent Jones, Barry Thompson, Patton Tidwell and Scott Turner
Winners for the second flight are:
First Place -- Keith Akin, Steve Cobb, Stan Smith and Rick Springer
Second Place -- Rob Houser, Conner McKellar, Marshal McKellar and Donte Weed
Third Place -- Beau Baker, Jonathan Biddy, Melford Pierce and Steven Seals
Receiving the closet to pin prize was Scott Turner and Kenny Thompson received the prize for longest drive.
