Fort A.P. Hill continues to provide the best training and support anywhere for the Warriors who serve in the U.S. Military. Recently, U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III and C-130 Hercules aircraft from Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey trained day and night at Fort A.P. Hill's assault landing zone on Adkin Drop Zone. The training is especially important for the air crews when they operate in distant lands during contingencies or deployments.
