HONOLULU - Members of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club-Alakai Chapter and the Junior Enlisted Council from the Troop Command at Tripler Army Medical Center volunteered at Pearl Haven Sanctuary, a safe haven for underage females rescued from sexual exploitation, located on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, Mar. 23. The volunteers provided landscaping services at the 12-acre campus, and helped paint a building that will be used to house victims of human trafficking. Pearl Haven is currently an ongoing renovation project of the Ho'ola Na Pua organization, which will offer trauma recovery and community reintegration services upon completion.
