Leaders from the Fort Knox Army Volunteer Corps Program are inviting the community to join with them in celebrating National Volunteer Appreciation Week April 7-13 as they host three events that culminate April 10 with the annual appreciation ceremony.

The first of the events, and the only one limited to installation volunteers and their families, is a volunteer appreciation Bowling/pizza party, held at the Houston Bowling Center Sunday, April 7, from 4 to 6 p.m. The event is free to all who attend.

The second event is the volunteer information fair, held in the main Exchange lobby area Monday, April 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The final event for the week is the Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Ceremony, held at Sadowski Center Wednesday, April 10, beginning at 6 p.m. This year's theme is "Army Volunteers: The Heart of the Army Community."
