
FORT LEE, Va. (March 13, 2019) -- Spc. Mark Caseres and Sgt. Ryan Salazar, Team Hawaii, carefully monitor a flare-up during meal preparations for the Military Hot Food Kitchen Challenge category of the Joint Culinary Training Exercise March 13 here. More than 200 military culinarians converged at Fort Lee for the 44th JCTE, which serves to improve food service skills in a competitive environment. The event concludes Friday with an awards ceremony.
