CAMP LIBERTY, Iraq - Spc. Shawn Ergler, of Altoona, Pa., a Soldier with 2nd Battalion, 112th Infantry Regiment, 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, yells to another air guard while pulling security atop a Stryker vehicle May 19. "Air guards" are Soldiers placed in hatches of Strykers to provide overwatch for dismounted troops and to watch surroundings while the vehicle is traveling. The 2-112th, headquartered in Lewistown, is attached to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division.
