Resource Efficiency Manager Workshop coincides with Energy Summit

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama--The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville 2019 Resource Efficiency Manager Workshop is set to coincide with the Energy Huntsville's Energy Summit set for Feb. 26-28 in Huntsville, Alabama.

Resource efficiency managers attending the workshop will join attendees of the Energy Huntsville Energy Summit for training and presentations from industry and government Feb. 26 -27 at the Huntsville Marriott at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center.

The Energy Summit provides all attendees insight into energy resiliency, energy cyber security, energy efficiency, and partnerships among cities, companies, and military installations.

The workshop will conclude Feb. 28 with REMs meeting at Huntsville Center at 475 Quality Circle. The REMs will discuss upcoming Army goals, processes and procedures to assist the garrison energy managers meet their energy goals.

Huntsville Center's REM program provides subject matter experts to military installation and garrison energy programs. The REMs review and analyze energy data and through the identification of energy conservation and reduction measures, reduce the cost of energy at the installation or garrison.

Energy Huntsville is a volunteer-based, nonprofit dedicated to growing the Huntsville region's economy in the energy sector and establishing the Huntsville as the "go-to technology center for solutions to energy programs and projects."
