SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii - Staff Sgt. Kohl McLeod, a wounded warrior athlete assigned to the Fort Benning Warrior Transition Battalion competes in the men's 50-meter backstroke event Nov. 7, at Richardson Pool during the 2018 Pacific Regional Trials. The Trials is an adaptive sports competition bringing together approximately 100 wounded, ill, and injured soldiers and veterans from U.S. Army Regional Health Commands in the Atlantic, Central, and Pacific. The swimming finals included the men's and women's freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke events in distances of 50 and 100 meters with five to six heats per event.
