VICENZA, Italy (October 26, 2018) -- On Oct. 4, Aziende Industriali Municipali (AIM) personnel began placing informational stickers on Vicenza Military Community dumpsters.

These stickers provide examples of what can and cannot be disposed of in each dumpster; however, this is not a comprehensive list. The goal is to assist personnel in properly identifying how to dispose of waste in accordance with the recently published U.S. Army Garrison Italy Recycling Policy.

This continues the garrison's efforts led by the Directorate of Public Works to increase recycling rates minimizing our refuse. Special recognition is due to Luca Muzzana, engineering technician in DPW's Operations & Maintenance Division, who spearheaded the initiative. Pictured are examples of the stickers being placed on VMC dumpsters.
