A recent high-tech donation from the American Red Cross of Augusta is helping members of the Warrior Transition Battalion.
"They donated two Wiis we are using in occupational therapy," said Lt. Col. Everett Sharpe, WTB commander.
Thanks to a national grant, the American Red Cross of Augusta was able to supply the WTB as well as the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center Active Duty Rehab unit with $7,500 worth of electronics such as the Wii gaming system and flat screen televisions.
Also included in the donation were a variety of board games and a portable CD player.
The items were delivered to Fort Gordon and to the VA on April 27.
