American Soldiers from 1-17 Infantry "Buffaloes", along with Soldiers from the 1st Infantry Regiment, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, participate in a Sniper Identification Training Range during Exercise Rising Thunder 18 at the Yakima Training Center, Washington, Sept. 1, 2018.
This exercise allows both forces to learn each others' capabilities and work as a unified team building partnership and readiness.
