Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division from Fort Wainwright Alaska and 4th Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division from Joint Base Lewis-McChord participated in a two-week Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise on Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Readiness is the Army's number one priority, and exercises like Courage Ready 18-02 ensure the Army is ready to deploy, fight and win in defense of the nation.
